We would like to thank everyone who voted us BARRIE’S FAVOURITE SALON! Also, a humongous thank you to all our fantastic clients and friends who continue to trust us, we could not have accomplished this without any of you! Finally, last but certainly not least, THANK YOU to our amazing Gravity Salon family, we would not be BARRIE’S FAVOURITE SALON if it weren’t for our amazing talented and unique group!

Riley Cuts 4 Gilda’s

Riley Ough was excited to cut her hair last month in support of Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka. The 16 year old hadn’t had a haircut in over 3 years and had more than enough to donate to 360 Hair. The goal was to raise awareness and funds for Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka and was a true success with the community coming together to help raise over $410 in support of Riley Cuts 4 Cancer.

A HUGE Thank You goes out to Jamie Dennis, Master Colourist & Senior Stylist at Gravity Salon Professionals located at 206 Bradford St. who donated her time & skills to make Riley’s hair look amazing after the BIG cut! Great work Riley, it’s very impressive to see a young woman going above and beyond to help those in need while supporting a local organization like Gilda’s Club at the same time! Thank you Good Life Magazine for featuring Gravity Salon in the March / April 2015 edition.

As you walk through the front door and glance around the century home that is Gravity Hair Salon in Barrie, your world class experience begins to take shape. The unique interior architecture, complemented by vintage and chic décor creates an elegant setting for a perfect ‚in-the-city getaway‘ to pamper yourself.

Gravity spans the entire house from top to bottom with salon services on every floor. There is even private space available where you can enjoy a unique experience with some of our most innovative stylists.

Gravity’s team of hairstylists and colourists have decades of experience in advanced cutting and styling techniques. They are highly qualified, talented, and committed to ensuring that every client is pampered with one-on-one focused attention.

The salon opened in Barrie in 2010 and after five years of steady growth and success, the salon outgrew its first location and moved to the current location at 206 Bradford Street; a renovated century home with a warm and inviting atmosphere that transforms a simple haircut into a relaxing experience. “We like to think that this is Barrie’s little secret,” explained Ivo Tiberio when talking about the salon.

Beyond the environment, however, the technical skills are top notch and unmatched in the area. While each stylist brings high energy as well as unique specialties and personalities, the Gravity Salon team is truly inspiring.

As a “boutique environment”, Gravity has a more intimate feel, rather than the clinical atmosphere that you see at many salons, which is what makes it so inviting. The clients get more one on one time with their stylists and that means a unique experience for everyone

Thanks For Coming To Our Open House

Established Canadian hair designer and GOLDWELL Master Colourist / Stylist Ivo Tiberio invites you to experience Barrie’s first hair paradise. Ivo Tiberio brings over 26 years of technical and management experience in Canadian salons and on worldwide stages working with renowned artists in the world of hair fashion.

Thank you Barrie! A very special thank you to all of our guests who have made our Open House and 2nd Anniversary a success! A very warm appreciation to our fellow colleagues from Goldwell Canada who found the time out of their busy schedules to attend our celebration also. It was a carefree evening that passed an energy on a high note. We made sure every guest of ours was welcomed with a smile and a glass of wine sponsored by Doug from, Vin de Garage.

The tasty, freshly made nibbles and assortment of cheeses were catered by Amanda of, Painter’s Hall restaurant . The evening carried on with the traditional grape stomping act out on the deck in the fresh autumn air and the camera was always close by. Great snap shots of candid conversations and some poses that even put George Costanza to shame. Introductions were made for a couple of new services: the popular Vibroacoustic Bed by Nexneuro, and Misencil Eyelash Extensions demonstrated by our very own, Spring Burke.

The night was not complete without dessert. “Too Pretty to Eat” by Mara Tiberio showcased her delectable artisanal cookies in every fashion for every season. Finally, a winner has been found in the draw for the basket of KMS hair products valued at over $75, thanks to KMS Canada. Congratulations to Bev Morgan! We look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come!
