Dear clients and friends of Gravity Salon Professionals,
We’ve missed you so much and can’t wait to see all your faces soon! These are the new guidelines and policies we are required to follow in order to provide you with the safest and best hair service possible moving forward. Please take the time to read through it, if you have any questions, we are always happy to answer them.
Due to the influx of calls we will be receiving; we ask that you contact us through email instead as we feel this is the most efficient way to process requests at this time.

Our online booking system will only allowing new appointments beginning in August, as we look to catch up on appointments that were cancelled because of the COVID-19 lockdown. If you had a scheduled appointment that was cancelled (from March and April) please email us.
When requesting appointments please include:
⁃ a few options of preferred date and time.
⁃ All of the services required during your visit.
⁃ Any notes on at home services you may have had while we have been required to remain closed. (Desperate times 😅)
**We will do our absolute best to accommodate your requests as much as possible and in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, at this time we will not be capable of running at the same capacity as we have previously because of the distancing and enhanced sanitization guidelines put in place. Stylists will be working staggered shifts and can only service one client at a time with a sanitizing period in between. We ask for your understanding as we navigate through these new processes.
Upon arrival for your scheduled appointment:
⁃ Please come to your appointment with clean and dry hair.
⁃ We ask that you call us from your vehicle before entering for your appointment. We will let you know when we are ready for you to enter the salon.
⁃ Please only use the FRONT entrance
⁃ We are required that you wear a mask for the entirety of your time in the salon. If you do not have one we will provide them at the entrance.
⁃ Upon entering we ask that you immediately sanitize your hands and put on your mask. Gloves as well of you like. (Who didn’t dream of being a doctor at some point 😬)
⁃ Please wait there for your stylist or receptionist to take you to their station.
⁃ Virtual hugs, air high fives and foot bumps are encouraged. 👍🏼
⁃ Touching at this time, sadly is not. 👎🏼
**At this time we can only allow clients receiving scheduled services to be in the salon, for the time being you cannot bring any friends or family with you so that we can maintain the required health guidelines. We ask that you limit the amount personal items you bring in with you. (Ie. form of payment, cell phone and personal beverage) Leaving purses and jackets in your vehicle.
**We know that unforeseen situations can arise, but it is very important that you are on time for your appointment to give us the required amount of sanitation time in between clients and avoid front desk and entrance overflow. If you are unable to arrive at your scheduled time, please call as soon as possible and we will let you know how to proceed.
During your service:
⁃ Please keep your mask on.
⁃ Please keep arms and legs in the ride at all times (just kidding 🤣), but please no wandering.
⁃ Let your stylist know if you need any take home retail products so they can have them waiting for your at the front desk.
⁃ Tell us about the hidden talents you’ve acquired while being stuck at home, new hobbies, survival skills?!
⁃ Plan for your future appointments to minimize time at the front desk area.
**We are not able to offer beverages or magazines temporarily due to health regulations but you are more than welcome to bring something from home. If you need to use the restroom during your visit, we ask that you use the upper level only and let us know. (Just like being in school again, except you don’t have to raise your hand 🤣)
-Please do your best to maintain a healthy distance between yourself and reception.
-If you require any retail items please ask your stylist or receptionist, they will be happy to get them from the shelf for you.
-Have your preferred rebooking dates ready upon cash out.
-More air hugs, air high fives and foot bumps are encouraged. 👍🏼
-Touching, sadly is still not. 👎🏼
**Please exit the salon through the FRONT door only. You can now dispose of your gloves and mask in the garbage can at the door, or feel free to keep them until you get home.
We as a salon team understand that this is all a little strange and daunting at the moment but please know that we are doing our absolute best to navigate through these uncharted waters together. Our main focus has always been to give you the best service possible and now even more so in the safest environment we can provide. As time goes on we will evolve and change, keeping you updated along the way.
We are so happy to be back doing what we love and seeing all of our wonderful people. Please remember we are always here to answer any questions and concerns you may have.
